Sur Albert , son of the Orc Sur , he was named by his mother Lelelan Albert. Lelelan and Sur led a nomadic existance, with there two Children Sur and his sister Marag, shunned by normal society, they brought them up to value life as Half Orcs, but not to be afraid to defend themselves. Sur soon developed a interest in helping others, the upbringing has led him to gain a repuation as a Paladin of the World , beholden to no religion , except that of helping all creatures. His Sister became a Sorceress, and carved out a career as an adventurer, but they have lost contact and she was never a benevolent as her brother.
Sur Albert is a person of great strength and even greater compassion, despite the distrust many show him due to his heritage, he will go to great lengths to protect the weak and aid any stranger being a living example of the kindness that is so often lacking in Tarsonis. Standing for the tenets of Equality, Togetherness, Respect, Change, and Labor, a paladin who has sworn the oath of the Common Man is a bastion of change, a defender of the impoverished, and a beacon of hope for a bright and eternally prosperous future. In this paladin's hand lies simple, honest progress, and in this paladin's heart beats a vision and passion that all commoners can rally behind, a chance at a better tomorrow that all can believe in. Paladins that take this oath are simple folk, known and beloved by all commoners and reviled by the tyrants who would oppress them. These paladins eschew complex, ornate armor in favor of functional, serviceable protection, well-kept with honest labor, and shining with the metaphorical (and often literal) light of equality for all. |
