Rules Info
5 Players Max
All Races allowed, including flying ones, some races (Kenku, Tabaxi, Pebbles, Triton) count as “Native” and only 2 players may choose them. “Native” races will have Class / Background restrictions (though it’s up for discussion, depending on how we can fluff it)
Most Classes allowed: UA subject to review. In November players will have the option to “Respec” their characters if the new options in the new rule book fit better.
Campaign will feature Time Skips at certain points depending on story arcs, players will have say in what their character does during this down time.
This is a Sea Fairing Campaign setting so expect a lot pirate tropes and puns.
All characters (other than “Natives”) will know at least two others, this can be worked out in the first session but keep in mind that backstories must allow for this (So no “I just woke up with no memory and no one knows who I am” unless that happened a few months ago and you’ve been traveling with other characters)
Campaign will likely have a lot of world exploration and Firearms will feature within the world from the start (though they are not required to be used, just as an option) and all classes have the ability to learn how to operate and fix (they break a lot) firearms.
Not all magic works the way when interreacting with martials native to these islands, be prepared for anything.
I may be changing the Drowning Rules, we’ll see.
